Alphonso T Fontaine, DHSc, PA-C

Alphonso T Fontaine, DHSc, PA-C received his Physician Assistant degree from the U.S. Army, Fort Sam Houston, TX. A physician assistant since 1983, Dr. Fontaine completed an orthopedic fellowship from 1989 to 1991 in Nuremburg, Germany. In May 2001, he also completed his Master of Physician Assistant studies with a specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Fontaine completed his Doctorate in Health Science in June 2004 from Nova Southeastern University, Ft Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Fontaine is an adjunct professor for the Math and Science Department at St. Petersburg College, Clearwater, FL. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Army Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, American Academy of Physician Assistants Veterans Caucus and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
