Director, Physical Therapy
Irene Rademeyer graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa with a degree in Physical Therapy. During the following fifteen years, she established her own private practice. She attended an advanced course in Maitland Techniques in South Africa and furthered her skills with Geoffrey Maitland in Switzerland. As the chairman of the Manipulative Therapist’s Association, she was instrumental in the development of the manual therapy program at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 1990, she established the Physical Therapy Department for the Florida Spine Institute. An active presenter, lecturer, and author, Irene has presented at the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and at the Florida Academy of Pain Medicine. She was also invited to write a chapter for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics of North America. Ms. Rademeyer is a guest lecturer at the University of South Florida and has served on the committee for faculty selection.
