Kathleen DeMolli Shirley, PT.OCS.GCS
Kathleen DeMolli Shirley, PT has been practicing physical therapy in a variety of settings over the past 27 years. She received her BSPT in 1981 from East Carolina University and in 2007 was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni of the College of Allied Health for her contributions to the profession of Physical Therapy. For the past 4 years she has specialized in vestibular rehabilitation treating a variety of diagnoses involving vertigo, dizziness, chronic pain, balance and postural dysfunction. She is board certified in Geriatric and Orthopedic Physical Therapy and has completed the Herdman Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency. In 1997 she created and implemented an Osteoporosis Prevention and Education program for 5th grade children and their families. This teaching model has been implemented throughout the United States. In 2001 she completed a nationally recognized Yoga Teachers Certification Program. Kathleen has published articles in the Physical Therapy Clinics of North America and GERINOTES. She has been an invited speaker at the American College of Rheumatology and American Physical Therapy National conferences and is a national and international lecturer on numerous topics related to Geriatric Orthopedics, Chronic Pain, Dizziness and Balance Dysfunction.
