More Surgeries Now Being Performed on an Outpatient Basis

    Florida Spine Institute Outpatient Surgery

Outpatient surgery has grown in popularity due to the rise in improved technology. It keeps hospital costs down, and saves time that would otherwise be spent in the hospital. In fact, outpatient surgery centers are often preferred by patients for minor surgical procedures.

Florida Spine Institute’s C-Med Ambulatory Surgery Center is designed exclusively for outpatient surgery. We offer patients a convenient, comfortable alternative to a hospital stay, and specialize in neck and back procedures for pain relief.

The Center’s warm surroundings and the increased level of individual attention from our staff minimize the stress often associated with surgery.

The Center has a highly skilled team of registered nurses and medical technicians specially trained in surgical and recovery care. The Center is Medicare certified and fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare, Inc. (AAAHC).
With improved technology, shorter medical procedure duration and fewer complications, it makes sense to let patients go home sooner. Today about 65% of all surgical procedures are done on an outpatient basis.

Our C-Med Surgery Center performs these treatments on an outpatient basis:

    • Radiofrequency Nerve Ablation
    • Spinal Cord Stimulation Therapy
    • Minimally Invasive Spinal Decompression
    • Discogram Diagnostic Procedures
    • Epidurography Interpretation
    • Cervical Epidural
    • Lumbar Epidural
    • Facet Injections
    • Medial Branch Blocks
    • Stellate Ganglion Blocks
    • Selective Nerve Root Blocks
    • Trigger Points
