Dr. Jonathan W. Dunn, DO

Dr. Jonathan W. Dunn, DO is a Board Certified anesthesiologist. He has had the opportunity to train at several top-ranked national institutions, such as the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, for his core cardiac anesthesia and surgical ICU training. He completed his pediatric anesthesia training at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, recognized as a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report. He completed his obstetric anesthesia training at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, which ranks in the top 5% of hospitals in the United States for high-risk obstetrics. During extensive training at nationally recognized institutions, he completed his internship and anesthesia residency at HCA Largo Medical Center. Dr. Dunn then completed his interventional pain fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute.

Dr. Dunn completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. He served as Medical Director of Anesthesia at several institutions throughout west Florida from 2016 onward. He has performed over 15,000 interventional procedures, which include regional nerve blocks, epidurals, radio frequency nerve ablations, and spinal cord stimulator trials. Dr. Dunn’s passion for regional anesthesia includes interventional spine procedures, peripheral nerve blocks, and optimization of multimodal techniques to minimize reliance on opioids for postoperative pain control and chronic pain management. Dr. Dunn tailors each patient’s treatments plan to reduce pain, decrease recovery time, regain lost function, and improve a patient’s quality of life.
